Dungeon Hunter 5 – Action RPG
When developing Dungeon Hunter 5, the Gameloft developers were faced with a daunting task.
Firstly, they had to replicate the success of the previous games in the series without repeating themselves too much in gameplay and storyline, and for the fifth time this is quite difficult, one has to agree.
Second, to strike a balance between wanting to make money from in-game purchases and wanting to develop a game that appeals to players and doesn't bother them. Combining all of this into one title is not easy, and it is not at all easy to reach the high bar from previous games.
The class system is replaced here by the element system: your weapons, armor and spells belong to different elements (light, death, water, fire and nature), just like the opponents who oppose you. This makes it easier to defeat them with weapons of the same element.
In Dungeon Hunter 5 we have to pay tribute to the controllability of the main character, the detailed graphics and the excellent voice acting. Both foreground and background are perfectly traced here, the demons look very scary and the battles are spectacular. The picture is complemented by dramatic music and selected voices of the characters.
As a result, we get a good, dynamic and high quality slasher, which may not be too original, but deserves the players' attention.
